9/21 - parachute - this guy scaling buildings, cutting himself loose, surfing on board on wind, landing safely - another guy brought me along, we watch and i realize he expected me to join in - i say no way - he says will you at least hold the ropes, i say i will do anything you say as long as i don't leave the ground - the daredevil one dies, i feel sorry for his children - one jump was off a tall radio tower with balloon - he landed safe but the balloon was popped by bees swarming it - that was unexpected, they had planned to use the balloon for more jumps, so they were sullen about what to do - unloading equipment - restaurant, see children of dead jumper - guy drives truck right up to outdoor table - i pay check with credit card - crowded - waitress grabs credit card, saying she has a spare minute - i wanted to see her closer, she's pretty
