once pristine . screens . prologue

[timsh1]
timsh was exiled from his homeland and sent to the land of braelig, a bleak and barren landscape
[timsh2]
the culture in braelig was built upon the principal of the many serving the few
[timsh3]
timsh decided to write a book
[timsh4]
timsh found a book he could relate to. it was titled 'authors of braelig'
[timsh5]
the characters in the book fascinated timsh, each approached the task of writing differently
[timsh6]
timsh set himself to writing. he hit upon an idea. to write a book about a writer struggling for ideas
[timsh7]
timsh began to imagine his lengthy book being finished. What if the book caught on?
[timsh7]
The fear of his words bing potentially widespread began to overwhelm timsh
[timsh8]
timsh wrote himself into the book as a character
[timsh9]
timsh became loopy
[timsh10]
timsh decided to conceptualize the book rather than actually write it
[timsh11]
timsh resolved to do the opposite of the others
[timsh12]
timsh became an outcast among exiles
[timsh13]
timsh recalled doing magic in his previous life
[timsh14]
timsh resolved to never forget his old self
[timsh15]
timsh set out upon the barren plains of braelig to seek adventure or whatsoever fortune would provide
[timsh16]
The plains of braelig were bleak and desert-like
[timsh16]
Fear set in hard
[timsh17]
lost in the endless plains of braelig, the outcast timsh began to grow delirious
[timsh17]
he continued to walk his way through the desert and the landscape slowly changed
[timsh17]
floating boxes began to appear sporadically and eventually he was surrounded by them
[timsh17]
He soon discerned the boxes to be cubes of silky screens
[timsh18]
timsh began to recognize his former world depicted on the desert screens of braelig
[timsh18]
he recognized the images to be characters and places from his childhood dreams
[timsh18]
timsh had the feeling that his dreams were real somewhere
[timsh19]
an outcast lost in the desert screens of braelig, timsh tired and slowed his pace
[timsh19]
there were cubic silky screens in every direction as far as he could see
[timsh20]
as timsh approached each screen, he entered and the image extended
[timsh21]
having wandered far, into screen within screen, he could never find his way back to the desert of braelig
