Death of the Spirit is a privation and results in the opening of a vessel for a Demon or Dark Witch. With a Changeling, the Spirit is so pure it is very weak, and the spirit is not killed, rather its power is subsumed by that of the bad spirit. The spirit thus never matures, and in the event the demon spirit is killed or exorcised, the naked spirit taken by the changeling is weak and must be cradled or it will dampen and die, even if the human vessel is mature.
