Time Travel.
The three ways to timeTravel are: 1) Shimmering. Using this method one is unstuck in time like Billy Pilgrim. One perceives memories of the 'past' and imaginations of the 'future' as one and the same. Higher beings use shimmering to pull salient moments up from the mud in the arc; this is called rendering. To practice shimmering, think of a hazy memory long ago in the arc; then similarly perceive a hazy vision of the future in the arc; once you understand these are the same process, you are shimmering. 2) Long in the arc. This practice is for higher beings, specifically magicians. The more advanced the magic, the longer in the arc, Sorcerers can see and render long in the arc. 3) Closed loop. This method involves a single action of travel in which majick through accelerated fermentation creates a closed recursive loop in the arc.
